I am long in the tooth! born 1932, and disabled since 1941 as a result of spinal injuries. I have within the last week got a Quantum 610 and what a change it has made. I have always been independant and looked on a power chair as admitting defeat. How wrong I was, it enables me to do all I want without depending on others to take me out in the car. I must thank John Preson & Co. for their help, especially Lynne who put all my fears to rest and is doing her best to get me sorted with a hoist for my car. I didn't realise we had a company like Prestons in Northern Ireland. Full marks to all at Altona Road. Thanks, Harding

My Dad recently purchased a Quantum 600 powerchair from John Preston & Co and he is getting on great with it. The chair itself is fantastic. Quality is second to none and the versatility for movement in the seating positions is a great bonus. Simplicity of controls is always good with someone who isn't technically minded and the Quantum has a big plus in this department. As far as the service from John Preston & Co, and Lynne Murphy in particular,I have yet to encounter a more pleasant, pro-active and prompt service. The only negativeis that it took me so long to become aware of their existence. Having been disabled for over 30 years and living only 20 miles from their branch, I haven't encountered them before. Maybe they should brag about themselves a little bit more!Mr Bagnall, Co Down

I suffer from Motor Neurone Disease and have lost the use of my arms. More recently I have developed weakness in my legs and am no longer able to walk unaided. I thought a powered scooter might help to make me more mobile, but after an assessment by Lynne at John Preston & Co I decided to purchase a Quantum 610 powered chair instead. I have no regrets - the chair is a very clever piece of engineering, robust high quality construction and amazing manoeuvrability. It can cope with the unevenness of a country lane and the narrow doorways of an old cottage. I am delighted with it. Thank you Lynne for your sound advice when deciding what to buy and for your helpfulness when the chair was delivered.

I suffer from Muscular Dystrophy and recently I have experienced difficulty in raising myself to a standing position. I realised a Powered Wheelchair with a straight lift up was needed. I shopped around a number of suppliers and foundJohn Prestons to be the most satisfactory in terms of the product, knowledge, detailed assessment and knowing exactlymy requirements. The staff were extremely friendly helpful and totally committed to my needs. With my new 'pride'Quantum 610 I am now relieved of the anxiety and trauma of getting out of any chair. The chair itself is extremely well built, very stable, precise and manoeuvrability is excellent
