Hedland Hotel

The Hedland Hotel is a 4* Luxury Hotel on the North coast of Cornwall with views overlooking Fistral Bay. The Hotel has plans to gain its 5th star in the next year and hope to be able to offer a new level of luxury to its guests.
In their quest for this, they have been working to improve the exterior aesthetic of the Hotel and contacted SureSet to lay 40mm of Norwegian bronze onto their raised patio area. This area surrounded their new skylights overlooking the indoor pool and would give the exterior of the Hotel a seamless and modern finish.The weather posed a few problems along the way with constant rain hammering the headland throughout the day. It also proved to be a fairly tricky installation as the SureSet had to be mixed at ground level and then transported to the raised patio area to be laid. However, the Installation Team managed to use their skills and experience to complete the job to a perfect finish without the weather or movement of the mixture causing difficulties.
The results were worthy of a 5* establishment and the Headland Hotel were thoroughly impressed with the finish. It was felt that it really complemented the aesthetic of the new skylights around the indoor pool area and looked extremely professional.
