Beehive creates space in fiscally difficult times

Beehive Folding Partitions has recently been involved with 3 turnkey projects, creating more efficient use of space from existing facilities, thus reducing the cost of expansion.
As part of the projects, Beehive installed structural beams to carry the partitions and made good the ceilings and adjacent finishes. This was a crucial element in all three installations. The first was an operable wall at the Lynnfield Centre, Hartlepool. The second, a Vinyl Concertina partition at a USAF base and the third, a Wondoor Metal Concertina partition at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Huntingdon.
All three projects, where building expansion was not an option due to cost and limited external space, Beehive acted as the single point of contact to prepare, supply, install and service the installations.
Bishop Cryer said;
“The church members in Huntingdon now have two classrooms created from their existing chapel layout and enjoy uninterrupted teaching times.”
These partitions are built to last in excess of 30 years. The installation of a vinyl concertina at a UK USAF base in their child development centre enabled safer classes for younger children, and being soft and durable as well as hard wearing produced a safe environment for their children.
John Siddall, General Manager of Beehive Folding Partitions, has seen a growth in these types of applications and attributes this to Beehive’s ability to deliver turnkey packages and offer after sales maintenance and servicing to clients throughout the UK.
“We have seen an increase in orders in schools, community centres and churches and other market sectors during this fiscally challenging period. This is a good sign for the future,” John said.
