3D Scanning Sculptures

Scanning is ideal for capturing Architectural form and Sculptures.
We were contacted by a local Artist, Martin Hayward-Harris, who wanted us to scan a sculpture of a Falcon - approximately 800mm high. Martin would have normally used his hand carved model as the master for limited edition bronze castings. In this instance he not only wanted some made at the full size but also a number at a reduced scale. Traditionally, he would have carved a second Falcon at this reduced size.Having visited our website detailing 3D scanning he asked us to scan the sculpture and then supply him with the Falcon at full size and at the reduced scale. The scanned data was then used to make limited additions of the Falcon.
