Having served thousands of clients across the UK since 2011, our Tablet Rentals team are dedicated to providing the best, iPad rental and Tablet hire service in the UK. We work with thousands of events and exhibitions along with corporate companies and creatives. Our dedicated iPad Hire team is second to none.
We are constantly asked; what’s coming next for the iPad…? Part of the answer is simple; Apple will definitely be releasing a new iPad soon (they always do…!), but when…?
There have been various rumours that the latest iPad devices will be released this month (October 2022) and our team will be amazed if the latest iPad is not available by the end of the month. If it’s not this month then definitely in November 2022. So what can we expect..??
This is harder (to a certain extent) to answer. There will definitely be a new standard 10th Gen iPad. This is expected to be an enhanced version of the 9th Gen iPad (quicker/slicker, more powerful), although there are rumours that Apple might move away from its lightning connector to a USB-C charging cable. It appears that there will now be a universal charger for all tablets (finally!) and it would make sense for Apple to start moving all new iPad models to a USB-C cable. We expect the new iPad 10th Gen to be available for hire in the next 4-5 weeks. We also expect it to remain an iPad 10.2’ device and not change size. The 10th Gen standard iPad fits in between the 6th Gen iPad Mini and the larger/more powerful iPad 11’ Pro and the 12.9’ iPad Pro.
Over the next few weeks, Tablet Rentals also expects to see the release of a new iPad Pro 11’ (4th Gen) as well as a new iPad Pro 12.9’ (6th Gen). Apple always likes to ensure that the best of its processors go into its Pro iPad tablets, which is why they are so powerful. The iPad Pro was the first iPad to get an M1 chip and Tablet Rentals has been hiring out iPad Pros since their first release in 2016 (iPad 9.7 Pro hire).
The latest iPad Pros have the M1 chip, so it is only natural to expect the new iPad 11’ Pro (4th Gen) and the iPad 12.9 Pro (6th Gen) iPads will have the M2 chip, which would make the iPad Pros around 20% faster than their current iPad Pro predecessors. As ever, the iPad 11 Pro and the new iPad 12.9 Pro will be available soon from our team at Tablet Rental. The M2 chip will make these two devices the fastest two tablets to hire on the market.
