Berker Retains a Strong Presence in Mobile Living.
Having visited the Motorhome and Caravan Show in Birmingham last month, it is always a thrill to see the Berker Integro range widely used by many of the key brands. The quality of the product really stands out and ensures the finish on these leisure vehicles meet customer expectations. The caravan show was well attended and shows the industry is still strong in the UK.The Berker range is a modular product meaning the sockets, switches and frames are interchangeable. The Berker frames snap fit over the switches and sockets providing a choice of colour and finish to suit everybody’s taste. The Integro range offers socket outlets for various countries. If, for example, a caravan or motorhome is bought from a European manufacturer, a UK customer can easily change their setup to British standard sockets.
Berker Modular Concept
Manufactured in Germany, Berker socket and switch systems have a well established position within the mobile living industry. In addition, the ultra compact construction along with their reputation for quality and reliability makes them suitable for use in various other applications. These include ambulance vehicles, kitchen furnishings, electrical appliances, HVAC equipment, music equipment, PAT testers, laboratory furnishings, medical and sanitation equipment.

Berker Product Assembly
As the above image describes, the Berker sockets and Berker switches are fixed into an application using screws which are then covered from view by the snap fit frame. IP44 protection is available for some sockets when using the hinged cover and seal. Please refer to the Berker catalogue to identify which of the parts are suitable for IP44.
