M6 tolls made simple with fuel cards

Paying to use the M6 toll section could not be easier, thanks to The Fuelcard People, whose comprehensive range now includes two fuel cards that can be used for M6 tolls.

Any user of their Shell or Diesel Direct fuel cards simply present the card as though paying for fuel.

The toll charge is then added to the next weekly invoice. There is no need for drivers to pay with their own money, carefully look after a receipt, then make an expenses claim. Both drivers and fleet managers save time and administration.

Drivers can avoid congestion on the main M6, It means shortening journey times, cutting fuel consumption and reducing CO2 emissions immediately, but while also minimising toll charge administration.

The Fuelcard People’s range includes fuel cards which are valid at BP, Esso, Shell, Texaco, Total, Q8, Jet, Gulf, Spot, Murco, Morrisons, Somerfield and Moto filling stations, as well as the Keyfuels Diesel Direct and UK Fuels networks.

Steve Clarke, group marketing manager, said: “Always remember the difference between truth and honesty. If a supplier tells you that it offers fixed weekly pricing, that might be true, but if it forgets to add that it also levies transaction charges, it is not being honest.”
