Garage electrical equipment waste collection now available.

A special service for garages and vehicle service centres for the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is now available from OSS Group.

Available as an easy add-on or stand alone collection, in addition to providing suitable storage containers the service covers the collection of a variety of electrical items such as PCs, TVs, monitors, printers, fridges, kitchen appliances and other electrical goods that must be disposed of legally in the required manner.

Collection is on a demand basis. When the waste container is full or if a large item is ready for collection, a call to the OSS Group will result in the waste being collected usually within three days.

WEEE waste collection is provided under the OSS Group’s Total Waste Management service which deals with a range of items and services outside general workshop waste streams. These include interceptor and septic tank clearances, industrial cleaning, small items of hazardous waste and used tyre collections. It can also be included in a contract for the collection of oil and general workshop hazardous waste.

A spill response service is also available which provides a comprehensive emergency response for all kinds of spills including oil, chemicals, other liquids and hazardous matters.
