Chiltern Sports hit an ace

Chiltern Sports Contractors hit another ace with the successful installation of another series of sought after Synthetic Clay surfacing.

Warwick Tennis Centre, St. George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club, Surbiton Racket & Fitness Club and Princes Risborough Lawn Tennis Club have been enjoying their new facilities, which were converted from old and worn out surfaces.

Roy Staniland, Club Director for Surbiton Racket & Fitness Club:-

"We had a very short window for our resurfacing of three old tarmac courts into our new synthetic clay courts with new surround fencing.  The project was completed a couple of days early, the workers were excellent and were very pleasant to our members and the whole experience was fantastic.  The three clay courts are the most popular courts in the Club and players of all ages and abilities lover them.  Thank you Chiltern Sports."

Penny Garbutt, Tennis Development Office at Warwick University:-

"Once the sand had settled down, everyone who used the new Clayrite courts just loved it!  We’ve had players with all different levels of ability use the surface and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive."

Celia Gregory, Racquets Administrator St. George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club:-

"Chiltern installed 3 artificial clay courts at St. George’s Hill in September 2012.  Because of the wet conditions, it took a few weeks for the courts to bed in and play properly.  But the more they were used, the better they become.  Now 4 months later, they are our most popular courts and are great to play on in all weathers, frost, wet and dry.

Chiltern were at all times very hard working and kept the site and storage areas tidy, and disruption to members at a minimum.  I would recommend the company to any club who may be thinking of installing the surface."
