The handy, lightweight, SVAN 971 is an up-to-the-minute pocket-sized demon, offering advanced features such as a new user interface, which makes the configuration of measurements effortlessly easy, a dosimeter function and a vast time/history logging capability.

The Class 1 meter conforms to IEC 61672-1 standard and is perfect for industrial hygiene, short period environmental, and general acoustic noise measurement. It is ideal for use by acoustics consultancies and technical engineers dealing with general noise issues.

The SVAN 971 provides broad-band results with all required weighting filters, as well as 1/1 octave & 1/3 octave analysis.  It has a high-contrast colour OLED-type display and can be successfully operated in a wide range of temperatures and environments.
