United as One At the end of 2012, the logical decision was made to combine the functionings of both KCC Silicones and Basildon Chemicals in the personal care sector under one brand and banner; and so KCC Beauty was born. This brand encompasses the hair care expertise of Basildon Chemicals with the skin care knowledge and manufacturing might of KCC Silicones.

The Sera Materials
The new ranges of personal care ingredients from KCC Beauty are here! The individually trademarked Sera (short for Seraphic or angelic) ranges of products have been designed to cover a vast range of sensory characteristics and to help guide our customers to the technology that they need, such as the gloss enhancing SeraShine range for hair, or the silky soft SeraSnow range of silicone powders and powder treatments. Global Formulation Support

In helping our customers to grow their business, we view technical support and product development as one of the main priorities, and investment in technical resources to support our customers is an on-going commitment.

The European Technical Centre for KCC now resides at KCC Basildon in Abingdon, the headquarters for KCC Beauty. This recently expanded facility is dedicated to the European customer base as well as supporting customers globally through its links with the Central Research Institute in Korea and the Japan Research Centre in Tokyo.

Together, these three centres form a huge, global resource of knowledge and experience which is at the disposal of our customers. In addition to this, the new KCC emulsion plant in Guangzhou, China, is also tasked and ready for manufacture of personal care emulsions for South East Asia and beyond.
