Big Data - Resolving the Power Transformer Dilemma

@ Euro TechCon December 2-4, 2014

Dear Energy Professional,

Over the past several decades, the expansion of power consumption has been unprecedented globally with the additions of several transformers to the expanding global grid. Significant industrial growth happened in the 1950’s and beyond. Power consumption continues to grow on the average 3-5% per year globally, however the fleet of transformers is significantly aging and, as a consequece, failures are rapidly increasing.

About the Euro TechCon Conference

LumaSense Technologies will be exhibiting a range of efficient monitoring solutions to help avoid a transformer dilemma at the coming TechCon Conference in Stratford-upon-Avon. Besides the exhibition, there are several interesting lectures about energy transmission & distribution and the important role of transformers.
In his presentation on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 8:30 am, Jeff Golarz will speak about the current transformer dilemma. He will also discuss how efficient Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) enables accurate online monitoring of power transformers, substations, and LTC''s. These important solutions enable energy providers and utilities to avoid power outages and severe demage to the their vaulable energy assets for maintaining constant availablility of power.

If you are able to attend Euro TechCon, we invite you to meet with us by sending an email. If you aren''t able to attend, please view our on-demand webinar with IEEE on using sensor technology on critical assets for continuous online monitoring.
