Fish Knife inventor nets MBE

The Safety Knife Company are delighted to announce that Bill Ireland, the inventor of the Fish Safety Knife, was awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to innovation.

The icing on the cake for Bill was receiving the award from HM the Queen at the investiture at Windsor Castle in October.  It was a truly memorable day.

The Fish Safety Knife was invented some 20 years ago and Bill now licenses over 30 patents and registered designs to The Safety Knife Company.  Further information can be found at www.safetyknife.net.
