Nitto Kohki CLA-2720 Cordless Atra Ace - Size Does Matter!

Nitto Kohki Europe have expanded their ‘ATRA ACE’ range of magnetic base drilling machines with the release of their revolutionary CLA-2720 Cordless ‘Atra Ace’.

Showcased at the recent Advanced Engineering exhibition, interest in the machine has been strong. Being the most compact and lightweight machine available in today’s market at just 7kg (including feed handle and battery), it’s easy to see why!

The CLA-2720 is supplied complete with 2 x 18v, 4.0ah Lithium-ion batteries giving it a maximum capacity of 27mm diameter holes through 20mm thick mild steel.

As you would expect from Nitto Kohki, the CLA-2720 boasts a range of unique safety features that include a visual motor overload indicator and side slip detection function, it is also fitted as standard with a fine drilling position adjustment once the magnet has been energised.

The CLA-2720 comes with the ‘One-Touch’ tool-less cutter replacement for quick and easy changeover which is found throughout the ‘Atra Ace’ product range, and a unique ‘quick-release’ feed handle which can be changed from one side to the other in seconds.
