Quantifying the Cost of Accuracy with High Value Fluids

Not all applications require a high degree of accuracy but where high value fluids are involved a slight improvement can translate into significant cost savings. MX-Series meters give a standard accuracy of better than 0.5% but can also be calibrated to 0.25%. The difference may seem small but with a process using 5000 litres a day of a fluid costing £5 a litre the difference can be as much as £22,000 a year.  Against this the additional cost of a 0.25% calibration is recovered in less than 3 days. Accuracy is nothing unless it can be relied upon and with individual calibration to ISO 17025 standards and repeatability of 0.03% MX-Series meters deliver time after time.
