Slippery decking solution for Godalming College

The decking at Godalming College is a high traffic area with students and staff enjoying it throughout the year. A long term solution was required to ensure the area was safe come sun, rain or frost.

As there were no grooves in the decking, increasing the slip risk, Watco advised using GRP decking strips. The use of yellow strips in areas helped meet DDA regulations.

The strips came pre-drilled so they were able to get the area back into use in two days, just in time for the new Summer term.
