For the second year running, jane iredale − BEAUTY WITH BRILLIANCE® has triumphed in the Make-up category of the FreeFrom Skincare Awards 2015, scooping the Gold Award with its Longest Lash Mascara. The awards celebrate the best skincare and make-up products that are ‘free from’ allergens and other problematic or undesirable ingredients.

Longest Lash Mascara is distinct from typical formulations, having been able to eliminate almost all of the water in the formula and replace it with algae extracts. These extracts condition lashes, stop breakage and actually promote growth. Like all products from the line, Longest Lash Mascara excludes synthetic dyes, preservatives and fragrance − the top three skin sensitisers − making it perfect for those with sensitive eyes.

The announcements followed a long judging process, which included a rigorous month-long assessment by testers recruited by the Awards’ associates, the Ultimate Natural Beauty Bible, and concluded with several days of expert judging sessions. Longest Lash Mascara came out on top against stiff competition from tinted mosituriser, eye shadow and lip gloss entries in the Make-up category. The panelists said of the winning product:

“The mascara delivered much more than I expected. The mascara wand is a thing of wonder - it separated and voluminized my lashes with absolutely no clumping and I had many compliments. I would go so far as to say this is the best mascara I have ever used and is a pleasure to put on every day.”

“I usually hate mascara, but felt this achieved a really natural looking result, which still defined my eyes really well. I would definitely buy it.”

“I don''t think there is anything to be done to improve or alter this product.”

“It lasts all day which is brilliant and comes off easily too. It is perfect for everyday wear and left my lashes in great condition.”
