New Wall Mount Adapter For OKW CARRYTEC Enclosures

OKW’s largest CARRYTEC handheld instrument enclosures can now be wall mounted for charging and data transfer.

OKW has created a new adapter that allows the existing desktop station for CARRYTEC size L to be attached to a wall.

CARRYTEC has been designed for a wide range of portable instrumentation applications.

Its robust integrated handle makes it comfortable to carry. CARRYTEC can be mounted on desktops, tripods, rails, suspension arms − and now walls.

Like the rest of the CARRYTEC range, the new wall adapter for Station L is moulded in off white (RAL 9002) ABS (UL 94 HB) for indoor applications or in UV-stable lava ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0) for outdoor use.

Each adapter is supplied with two self-tapping screws for attaching Station L.

CARRYTEC (IP 54 optional) was originally launched in three sizes: S (222 x 205 x 80 mm), M (270 x 247 x 91 mm) and L (348 x 303 x 117 mm). OKW recently added a slim version of size M for tablets (270 x 247 x 42 mm).

Each case’s integrated handle has a comfortable soft-touch insert. The handle is located above the centre of gravity for balanced carrying. It also doubles as a handy grab when the case is inverted for mounting on a suspension arm.

CARRYTEC’s top section features a generous recess for membrane keypads or product labels. Interfaces are protected by inset areas on the underside.

Prices for CARRYTEC start at £39.

Accessories include the new wall adapters; IP 54 seals; 93 x 98 mm battery compartments (5 x AA); gold-plated contacts, contact mounting plates and 6-pin contacting kit; charging/data transfer stations for sizes S/M and L; station base plates; rail holding clamps attachable protection bags for carrying probes, sensors and cables (sizes S and M); carry cases; PZ1 self-tapping screws (2.5 x 8 mm) and a Torx T10 screwdriver.

Customising options include custom colours, CNC machining; lacquering; digital, tampo and silk-screen printing; membrane keyboards; installation and assembly of accessories; display windows, adhesive foils, plastic and aluminium panels.
