Edward Waites - RHS Chelsea
Resin bound surface for stand at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2016
Addagrip were delighted to be involved once again in providing a Resin Bound surface for the Edward Waites stand at the 2016 RHS Chelsea Flower Show, held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London.Edward Waites creates sculptures of animals and wildlife that embody his passion for the vitality, energy and grace of his subjects. The surfacing for the stand needed to be aesthetically pleasing without detracting from the sculptures which included a majestic horse head as a centerpiece.
The Addacolor Resin Bound surfacing that we had supplied for Edward’s stand at last year’s show proved to be just the job so the surface was replicated for the 2016 show with the same Addacolor Resin Bound system in Cloud with a bespoke green blend for Edward’s logo.
Addagrip approved contractor Mulberry Landscapes created a bespoke template for the logo and installed the Addacolor surface once all of the sculptures were in place, creating a natural stone carpet that was smooth underfoot and in keeping with the signature elegance of the Edward Waites stand.
Addacolor is perfect for logos and designs for projects requiring a hard wearing, low maintenance surfacing system with a splash of colour. Available in a range of 12 standard colours, we can also create bespoke blends to match any RAL colour.
