H&A Prestige Bottling Limited

Yorkshire Packaging Systems, the leading supplier of shrink-wrap machines and shrink film in the UK, have recently installed a custom-modified Sleeve Sealer and Shrink Tunnel for the one of the largest contract bottling companies in the UK, H&A Prestige Bottling Limited, based in Chorley.

H&A Prestige Bottling has been a principal contract bottler for over 100 years for many of the UK’s major alcoholic brands. Following further expansion H&A required an additional shrink-wrapping machine and looked to YPS once again.

This machine is the eighth machine supplied by YPS and cements a 15-year relationship between the two companies. The machinery supplied was an Inline Sleeve Sealer and Double Chamber Shrink Tunnel designed to cope with speeds of around 20 packs per minute.

The benefit of the additional line has been that H&A can have two dedicated shrink-wrappers across two production lines rather than swapping one shrink-wrapper across two lines as it had previously been doing.

Brian Taylor, Engineering Manager at H&A, said, “We would have no reason to look elsewhere for shrink-wrapping as YPS have served us well over the past 15 years. Their back up and support is readily available when needed and they are an incredibly easy company to deal with.”
