eloProtect ’E’ - RFID " machine safety made simple"

elobau’s new range of machine safety sensors have been designed with increased performance and greater safety in mind. The new eloProtectE RFID sensors, build on elobau''s strong history of innovation in machine safety products.

A sleek modern design incorporates high reliability and life expectancy. It is available in 153 and 165 styles, ensuring that it will suit almost all machine applications. The new innovative and compact design also allows for mounting from either side.

Enhanced protection is two-fold; as a Device type 1 safety system with integral diagnostics, providing up to a PLe performance level; and through tamperproof sealing plugs over the fixing screws. The RFID technology used enables the sensors to be coded individually, allowing the tampering protection to be set according to the application. All materials provide IP67 and IP69K9 protection to comply with strict hygiene and cleaning requirements. The robust housing is also resistant to aggressive cleaning agents.

Being a Device type 1, with 2 x 400mA OSSD safe outputs, eloProtectE can be used as a ‘standalone device’, thereby having no requirements for a safety relay. With on board external device monitoring (EDM)/reset/start, and LED diagnostics, eloProtectE is ideal for a wide variety of applications.

All units are UL/CSA approved and the sensors are available with either direct cabling, or a 100mm ‘pigtail’ with an M12 connector.
