eloProtect − the next generation of machine safety switches and connectors

The eloProtect range of safety switches have been designed by elobau to offer greater safety with increased performance.

Available as either the magnetically actuated eloProtectM, and or the RFID eloProtectE, they build on elobau's strong history of innovative and reliable safety products.

The eloProtect range has also been expanded to include various T-connectors for series connection of the eloProtectE RFID sensors, and adapters for the direct coupling to M12 cables. Both the eloProtectE and eloProtectM versions are available in either 153 and 165 format, with IP69k housing as standard. The range conforms to all the appropriate safety standards and is UL/CSA approved.

In the eloProtectM range, additional circuitry has been incorporated to minimise the possibility of manipulation from a non-coded source. Each version allows for a greater misalignment value of between 3 and 5 mm, resulting in a reduction of any unwanted influences from machine vibration. The improved design also offers the option of LED indication with the normally open contact arrangement. There is also an option of an additional control contact.

The eloProtectE (RFID) range, there are 3 different coding levels to choose from, allowing the tampering protection to be set according to the application. The device has 2 x 400mA current rated outputs and can be used as a standalone device; with no need for a safety relay, making it ideal an idea choice for OEM’s manufacturing small or compact products.
