Soft drinks manufacturers benefit from enhancements to the new RFM300 Series refractometers

Xylem’s Bellingham + Stanley brand has enhanced its RFM300 Series refractometers by extending the measurement resolution and accuracy of the RFM330 to two decimal places Brix.

In doing so, customers within the soft drinks packaging industry specifically benefit by having a wider choice of instruments to select from; starting with the temperature compensated RFM742-M refractometer, ideal for factory operation, via the new RFM330 models with Peltier temperature control and an accuracy of ±0.04 °Brix, to the ultra-precise RFM340 instruments that incorporate Peltier temperature control, 3 decimal place Brix reproducibility and an enhanced accuracy of ±0.01 °Brix across the typical working Brix range of finished beverages.

Like all RFM300 Series refractometers, the new RFM330 is available in either touchscreen or tactile keypad format, the latter ideal for factory environments.

All RFM series refractometers feature the flattest of sample stages making for easy-cleaning of difficult samples such as sugar syrups or concentrates that helps to ensure no cross contamination occurs between sample measurement.
