YPS Win Business of the Month Award

Yorkshire Packaging have been crowned the winners of the prestigious Eaton Smith Business of the Month award for May 2018!

Eaton Smith are a Huddersfield-based solicitors firm who have been holding a business of the month award since 1995, covering the Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield area, designed to showcase the best businesses in our region. The win means that YPS join a whole host of other businesses from a wide variety of industries in the winners’ hall of fame − but YPS are the only packaging company to have scooped the title!

The judges said that they were particularly impressed by the company’s award-winning apprenticeship programme, their impressive portfolio of customers, their charitable work in the local community and the support they offer to nearby sports clubs. Most of all, the judges liked Yorkshire Packaging’s forward-thinking commitment to offer greener and more sustainable shrink wrapping solutions to the packaging industry.

Operations Director Rachel Johnson, Sales Director Jonny Braithwaite, Marketing Manager Olivia Routledge and Accounts Manager Claire Egan visited Eaton Smith’s offices on Thursday 14th May to collect this latest award. Treated to goody bags, buffet lunch and drinks, the team spent a wonderful few hours networking before being presented with their certificate.

As winners, YPS will be featured in the local press and ‘Close-Up - for Business’ magazine. Furthermore, all winners of the monthly awards throughout 2017-2018 are entered into the Business of the Year award, held on 6th July at Cedar Court Hotel, Huddersfield. Here’s hoping Yorkshire Packaging can bring home the Business of the Year award too!
