Anti Wicking Cable

The anti-wicking cable offers maximum protection against water penetrating through the cable entry should the cable be damaged, or the end of the cable submerged.

This, also prevents moist air from entering the motor and stops condensation forming, caused by the temperature difference between the motor pack and outside air.

How?

The moulded cable boot protection tube works by extending the cable bending radius, preventing abrasion and reduces rubber fatigue. The cable gland provides 360-degree compression of the cable boot, ensuring a watertight fit once installed.

The cable has an anti-wicking block in the cable entry section: each conductor is stripped back sealed by moulded epoxy which is placed in between each strand of the conductor.
