A large majority of all auto-diallers and telephones for lifts are still connected to the public switched telephone network, posing a threat to seriously disrupt functionality and create an unsafe condition. Once the traditional telephone lines are switched off, all voice communications will be over digital networks that may not function in emergency situations, where there is a loss of mains power.

To prepare you for the future, Evolifts have joined with Safeline, a market leader in lift communication systems to offer you a solution to future proof your platform lift emergency communications, with auto-diallers in conjunction with a GSM module utilising 4G VoLTE technology.

The GSM module works using a SIM card and effectively replaces your traditional analogue telephone line that is connected to your platform lift. The lift auto-dialler and GSM module are powered by your platform lifts emergency battery backup system and will therefore still function in the event of a mains power failure, with any communications made from the lift going over the 4G mobile network.
