This simple but smart intercom will not only help filter the wanted callers from the unwanted callers but will also help with the cash in your pocket.
The unit can work up to 5 years on a single lithium battery pack
(MPU01X − 3.6v/17Ah) or can work up to 3 years on a set of 4 x LR20 D cell batteries.
The battery life is based on household use.
i.e.:
2 x 10-second communications, 7 latch commands and 6 gate commands per day for a controller and an outdoor caller unit without keypad,
1 x 10-second communication, 4 latch commands (without outdoor caller unit backlighting) and 5 gate commands (without outdoor caller unit backlighting) per day for a controller and outdoor caller unit with keypad.
The wireless handset (as shown in the image above) is also energy saving, one single full charge allows the handset to remain off the charger for up to 15 days. As with most Lithium-ion batteries it is best to fully charge them, then do not charge again until the remaining battery power is around 25% or at 1 bar (battery symbol) displayed on the handset LCD screen.
There are other ways Daitem can help you lean to go green.
Switching receivers are a way of switching lights on or off using the best wireless technology, either from the handset or automatically every time you open your door or automated gate.
This means if you have driveway lights, Daitem can switch them on for a set period of time when the gates open, then automatically switch them off.
Daitem offer 2 types of switching receiver. One is 230v mains enabling the control of mains powered units, like lights and water pumps for garden features etc.
The other is a relay output enabling the control of automated systems like gates and automated garage doors.
