Compostable Coffee Cups - Compostable / Biodegradable Takeaway Hot Drinks Cups

Qualitasse Coffee Roasters are proud to manufacturer these fantastic coffee cups for coffee shops and mobile coffee bars to use throughout the UK.

We manufacture our compostable biodegradable cups in-house, right here in the heart of Hampshire, just a stone’s throw away from the M3, the M4, the south coast, the Midlands and London so not only are our cups compostable and biodegradable (including the glue and ink) but we keep our carbon footprint to the absolute minimum when obtaining materials and when delivering the final cups to you.

You can order these cups with our standard “Natures Cup” design (shown in the photo attached) straight out of the box, or we can print your own design on your own compostable cups with low setup costs and small minimum orders !

Our compostable / biodegradable takeaway hot drinks cups are double walled and constructed from sustainably managed forestry, being 100% sustainable.

The inner lining is a plant-based coating enabling the whole cup to fully compost within industrial composting facilities (IVC or In-Vessel Composting) within just 12 weeks − but perhaps most importantly they do not create any micro plastics that do so much harm in our environment, plus, the outer packaging boxes are recyclable, as are the outer sleeves the cups are wrapped in for hygiene purposes. In fact one Qualitasse customer who runs a mobile coffee bar and uses our Natures Cup design, simply puts all the cups collected after an event onto their compost heap at home and when they come to use the compost on their vegetable patch the following year, the cups are nowhere to be seen.

Other “bio cups” have just the inner sleeves of biodegradable board, but ours have inner and outer. Also, while others have biodegradable paper, the ink and glue used is often not biodegradable. It’s a bit like calling yourself a vegetarian and using a beef stock in your vegetable lasagne!
