Heatmiser enhances installer support with growth of Preferred Installer Network
More than 150 underfloor heating specialists and heating engineers have joined a new Preferred Installer Network from Heatmiser in less than three months, as the company elevates it customer support services with direct access to trusted accredited specialists.
Advanced heating controls manufacturer Heatmiser is providing installers with direct customer referrals and a package of training to provide the latest best practice on the installation and maintenance of Heatmiser products and systems and is offering installers with MCS Certification, APHC Certified and Gas Safe Registered, among others, to register on the scheme for free.
Heatmiser’s customer service and technical support teams currently fields hundreds of technical enquiries from end users, usually homeowners, each month, as part of the aftercare service Heatmiser provides as standard. When the customer enquiries require on-site assistance Heatmiser will look to refer the customer to a Preferred Installer that is local to the job and fully trained to the highest professional standards.
This model is accelerating the response rate for customers and delivering new work to installers on a daily basis. In addition, members of the Preferred Installer Network also receive access to a spare parts delivery service that supplies Heatmiser products to their destination within 48 hours, and often next day delivery.
Installers can register for the scheme via the Heatmiser website, and are then assessed for the correct, relevant and up to date accreditations.
Marc Robertson, managing director at Heatmiser: “We’re building a model that we hope supplies the end user and the installer the best of both worlds – on hand assistance for the customer – and direct business leads for a growing network of installers, as well as access to direct training on Heatmiser products and systems.
“This initiative aims to enhance the experience of our end users by connecting them with trusted professionals when they need on-site assistance and is part of a series of investments we are making to the business as part of the IMI Climate Control offer. This further strengthens what Heatmiser brings to the UK market and our customers at a time when the UK home heating market is becoming more sophisticated.”
Developments at Heatmiser in recent months includes a series of new hires for the business and investment in the manufacturing centre in Blackburn with the aim of improving on existing manufacturing processes and capabilities, ready for future requirements being driven by the market in the UK and Europe.
In addition, there has been significant investment and strengthening of Heatmiser’s product Research and Development capacity, as well as improvement to its logistics operation. The investment is part of IMI’s plan to maintain the industry leading position of Heatmiser, while increasing its capacity to supply products to the European market.
