Scantron Ships its Latest Proscan Magnum

The build represents the latest in a long line of premium measurement systems built by Scantron for the metals industry.

The Proscan Magnum has been shipped to one of our most prominent (and oldest) customers in India. The company is one of the largest aluminium producers in the world. 

This build is to replace a Proscan Magnum, which the company purchased more than 20 years ago, illustrating the quality and longevity of the Magnum, which underscores its value for money, return on investment, and payback. 

The Proscan Magnum is an offline surface and shape measurement system for sheet products. It measures and quantifies latent shape, providing values for wave height, waves per metre and I-units. It can also quantify edge burr and camber, if required. With user-friendly software, Magnum enables better product insight, which can lower costs and wastage.
