Embracing the Family Fun Community event

We are thrilled to share our experience of an incredible weekend where Mossley Juniors had the honour of hosting French teams from Hem.

This community event was more than just a series of football matches; it was a celebration of friendship, sportsmanship, and togetherness. The highlight was an exhilarating final that ended in a nail-biting penalty shootout, leaving everyone on the edge of their seats!

The weekend was filled with excitement, kicking off with a trip to Manchester United, followed by a friendly cricket match. On Saturday night, the atmosphere was electric as families came together for a communal feast, complete with delicious food and vibrant international music.

This event wouldn't have been possible without the tireless efforts of the volunteers from Comtec Presentations, the dedicated coaching staff, supportive parents, and over 30 enthusiastic volunteers from Frank travis & the Twinning community in Mossley. Their hard work and commitment truly brought the event to life and made a lasting impact on everyone involved.

What struck me the most was witnessing the joy on the children's faces, reflecting the essence of what community spirit should embody. It's a reminder that genuine connections often flourish outside the commercial realm of events.

I was proud to contribute to the design and sponsorship of the Playing and Commemorative shirts, the event program, and its overall execution. It was a fantastic weekend that not only showcased talent on the field but also highlighted the strength and unity of our community.
