New HMI_TFT Designer Software

MMS Electronics Ltd is excited to introduce an innovative line up of cost effective HMI displays with a software package that accelerates HMI and instrument design. The free uniTFTDesigner is a visual, intuitive and integrated development environment (IDE) that minimises the need for extensive coding, provides immediate feedback through simulation, and offers comprehensive support. A powerful tool for developers looking to bring their display projects to life quickly and efficiently!

The software includes Intuitive Click-and-Drag Interface. Simply drag and drop visual elements like pictures, buttons, bargraphs and gauges directly onto the screen. Link the visual elements directly to data entry fields or various interfaces and automatically update eliminating the need for extensive manual coding. Press F1 and context-sensitive help directly related to the current command is invaluable. Another brilliant feature for rapid prototyping and testing is the desktop simulator. Being able to simulate the project on a desktop environment without the need for constant hardware interaction (downloading code to the screen) significantly speeds up the debugging and refinement process. The uniTFTDesigner package includes the HMIDesigner and allows to program for both EA uniTFT, EA HMI and EA HMI displays with Modbus.  

The uniTFT display are available in size 1.5”, 2.0”, 2.8”, 4.3”, 5.0”, 7.0” and 10.1” with 3.3V interface. The new Modbus HMI units fitted into an enclosure will be made available in four sizes 2.8”, 4.3”, 7.0” and 10”.  The HMIs operate on a standard DC power supply, ranging from 5 to 30 volts.
