• Voltage measurement on bonded steelwork or crossarms
• Prospective short-circuit current (ISC) calculation, indicating leakage risk
• Phase comparison testing to determine which conductor is contributing to a fault

To ensure results are quickly understood and acted upon, the unit features:

• Clear LED indication (green, amber, red)
• Audible buzzer warnings
• On-screen messages providing straightforward guidance to the operator

A self-test function verifies system readiness before each use, and the weather-resistant design makes the MCAT+ suitable for use in all field environments.

The system includes the WPC1000TX wireless phase comparator, allowing engineers to identify the faulted phase conductor without requiring direct contact with the line.
