DRS Taking Part in National Manufacturing Day 2025

DRS are proud to be taking part in National Manufacturing Day 2025 on Thursday 25th September 2025, joining manufacturers across the UK in celebrating innovation, skills, and career opportunities.

On National Manufacturing Day local companies across the UK open their facilities to their communities’ allowing schools, colleges and people looking at a career change to have the chance to see first-hand the potential careers and jobs on offer. The UK’s manufacturing sector is a global leader in innovation and quality, contributing billions to the economy each year and employing over 2.5 million people.

As part of the event, DRS will welcome two groups of visitors for guided tours of its factory and showroom. Visitors will have the chance to view our product range in the showroom and see firsthand how the company’s high-quality aluminium doors, windows and roof lanterns are produced.

For those eager to roll up their sleeves and have a go, there will be a practical workshop where participants can try their hand at joining a sash – offering a taste of the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into every DRS product.
