Milbank Concrete Products Supports Rising Local Martial Arts Champions at The Martial Arts Centre, Braintree

Milbank Concrete Products has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local young people by continuing its sponsorship of The Martial Arts Centre (TMAC) in Braintree - a partnership that is already helping athletes achieve national and international success.

TMAC, known for its strong coaching ethos and community focus, has reported one of its most successful years to date, with several members becoming champions at England, British, and European level. Many of these achievements have been made possible through Milbank’s contribution, which helps fund competition entry fees, travel, and accommodation.

Outstanding Achievements in 2024/2025

This year’s accomplishments include:

Abbie Sutton – Two-time England Karate Champion, European top-6 in Kumite (fighting), 4th place in Kata, and part of the GB Team Kumite Championship win.

Dominic Karsai & Bailey Mutlow – WUMA Kickboxing European Champions.

Four WUMA British Champions – Dominic Karasai, Alfie Smith, Bruce Clarke, and Mayzie Lake.

Four athletes selected to represent Team GB at the WUMA World Championships in Switzerland next year.

Empowering Local Talent

Milbank’s sponsorship directly supports young competitors by reducing the financial barriers associated with elite-level sport. This assistance allows students to attend international events, gain experience on the competition circuit, and proudly represent both TMAC and the local community.
