Printing UV Graphics for our new Showroom - Granthams GT

Following our recent move, we’ve begun work on transforming our showroom to effectively demonstrate the capabilities of our equipment. Below you'll find three videos showcasing how we made use of UV printing equipment from both Mimaki and Roland.

Demo Room Transformation with the Mimaki JFX600-2513 Flatbed Printer | Printed Foamex Panel

We printed custom graphics on 5mm Foamex using the Mimaki JFX600-2513 Flatbed Printer - Mimaki’s fastest Flatbed Printer to-date. These were then cut precisely to size using the Mimaki CFX-2513 Flatbed Cutter, packaged, shipped, and installed to form a custom cladding solution for our Keencut workbench.

This video showcases the entire process - from print to install - and gives you a real-world look at how these machines can deliver fast, high-quality, versatile output suitable for all kinds of display and signage applications.

UV Printing and Board Mounting | Mimaki UCJV330 UV Printer / Cutter with White Ink & Laminator

See the Mimaki UCJV330-160 UV printer and cutter in action in this real-world demonstration - showcasing fast white ink printing, reverse application on acrylic, and seamless finishing with the LA-160W Laminator.

We were keen to focus on the city of Preston and decided on two themed prints - one featuring the city’s iconic red phone boxes and the other a view of the historic docks - both designed to highlight the machine’s versatility in real production conditions.

UV Print, Cut & Install - Roland TrueVIS LG-640 Printer / Cutter (Start to Finish Workflow & Review)

In this video, we run a full job on the Roland LG-640 UV Printer / Cutter, showing setup, test prints, VersaWorks prep, cutting, weeding, and application - all in under 52 minutes.

Instant cure, no drying time, no need to wait for outgassing - and with the optional addition of gloss varnish, the finish is second to none.
