Pivot Steer, also know as Flexi or Bendi forklift, has a number of advantages over the conventional Counterbalance or Reach trucks. Sometimes also known as Articulated, Swing Mast and Turrett forklift truck, it is specially designed to work in narrow aisles where space is limited and can lift loads as high as 15 meters, comparable to Reach forklift trucks.

Pivot steer, Flexi, Bendi forklift has an articulated mast which means that they can bend in the middle up to 90 degrees or more for higher flexibility. This allows forklift operators to turn the forks without moving the whole truck, making them perfect for narrow warehouse aisles and bulk storage facilities.

Exceptional Manoeuvrability – Precise turning and ability to turn in tight circle. The articulated steering means that the back end does not swing out when turning and therefore is less likely to hit other objects or racking.

Extra Storage space – The use of Pivot steer, Flexi, Bendi forklift trucks allows up to 50% extra storage space by being able to operate in very narrow aisles of less than 6 feet (1.8m), enabling to organise the racking in the warehouse in a tighter configuration thus helping to store larger amount and greater volumes of goods which can be easily and quickly retrieved. Suitable for most environments – Pivot steer, Flexi, Bendi forklift trucks can operate indoors and outdoors, thus enabling it to off-load goods from a lorry and also store it on the racks. It can also operate in a cold storage facility.
