LTE Scientific Eco-Drying Cabinets Deliver Significant Energy Savings for Laboratories
LTE Scientific has introduced Eco-Drying Cabinets that help laboratories reduce energy use by up to 65% compared with standard drying cabinets. Available in 100-litre and 180-litre sizes, they feature digital temperature control, a 7-day programmable timer, five-side insulation, and glass sliding doors. The DL100E model shows very low energy consumption, and the range includes a two-year warranty with optional servicing.
LTE Scientific has introduced a new range of Eco-Drying Cabinets designed for laboratories that want to reduce energy use while maintaining effective glassware drying performance. The range focuses on sustainability and lower running costs, with energy savings of up to 65% when compared with many conventional drying cabinets.
The Eco-Drying Cabinets are built to combine efficient operation with straightforward day-to-day use. Each unit incorporates digital temperature control and a programmable seven-day timer, allowing users to set operating periods to match their schedules and avoid unnecessary energy consumption. Cabinets are available in two capacities, 100 litres and 180 litres, making them suitable for a wide variety of laboratory environments.
To help retain heat and improve efficiency, the cabinets are insulated on five sides. Sliding glass doors provide clear visibility of the contents and easy access during loading and unloading. The interior layout can be adjusted, with shelving that can be repositioned or supplemented with additional shelves where extra capacity is required.
Energy performance testing has demonstrated very low power consumption. The DL100E model used 0.138 kWh to raise the temperature from 22 °C to 60 °C, and only 0.122 kWh to hold that temperature. Even when operated continuously at 75 °C, energy use was measured at just 0.201 kWh, highlighting the cabinet’s efficient design and reduced environmental impact.
The outer body of each cabinet is manufactured from stainless steel to support hygiene, durability and long service life in demanding laboratory settings. The product range is intended not only to lower energy use but also to offer reliable performance over many years.
LTE Scientific provides a two-year extended warranty as standard across the Eco-Drying Cabinet range. Optional servicing carried out twice per year is also available, helping users maintain safety, performance and energy efficiency throughout the equipment’s operating life.
