North West Fire Training delivers fire safety training at Burnley Borough Council

North West Fire Training recently delivered fire safety training at Burnley Borough Council. This session was particularly significant as Burnley became the first local authority to adopt the Marshal Eye incident response application. Alongside training delivery, we explored how digital, opt-in role allocation can strengthen real-time response, coordination, and assurance during incidents.

North West Fire Training delivered fire safety training at Burnley Borough Council this week, continuing a long-standing relationship that spans over 16 years.

The session marked an important step forward, as Burnley Borough Council became the first local authority to adopt the Marshal Eye incident response application. Alongside the training, time was spent demonstrating how Marshal Eye supports real-time incident management by allowing staff to opt in and claim roles as an incident unfolds, rather than relying on pre-nominated lists that may not reflect who is on site.

This approach helps ensure that critical tasks are not overlooked, improves coordination through live communication, and provides a clear, time-stamped record of actions taken.

We are proud to be supporting Burnley Borough Council as they take this next step in strengthening their operational response and look forward to continuing our work together as they embed digital incident management alongside their fire safety arrangements.
