It’s Good to Talk
We’ve spent a bit of time recently taking a step back and reminding ourselves of what we consider to be the most valuable element of any construction project.
We want to offer the best value for money and we recognise we’re not always the cheapest but value doesn’t just come from having the lowest total figure on the budget sheet. Value needs to come from the consistent quality of our materials and workmanship but also from our performance and how we communicate.
Padel has been the catalyst for this internal reset but it applies to every sport or industrial project we work on.
Padel courts are popping up at pace. We can sense the urgency in the clients’ tone. They want to move forward quickly and claim their spot before someone else does. We get it but unless there is alignment between all parties, mistakes will happen, safety will be compromised and timelines will not be adhered to.
Surely, effective communication has to be one of, if not the most valuable element of every construction project. It will keep budgets down, ensure deadlines are met, foster collaboration, coordinate the team and ultimately, lead to successful project completion.
Good communication is a primary reason for why we offer a full turnkey project solution. This way of working promotes greater transparency and a stronger partnership. It also helps to address issues instantly and stop costs from spiralling by preventing minor problems from becoming major roadblocks.
It’s simple but there is huge value to be found in the provision of effective communication. It should not be a nice-to-have, it should be the essential backbone of any construction project and, luckily for our clients, we like to talk!
