When an application requires a temperature sensor with rapid response times - the Semitec FT micro thin film SMD thermistor, available from ATC Semitec, can be regarded as the gold standard, outperforming similar products due to their miniature size, exceptionally fast response time and high heat resistance.

Our FT is a unique ultra- thin NTC thermistor sensor mounted on a 150 micron ceramic substrate. Its unique construction and miniature format (size down to 0201) enables placement of the FT onto a heater or power component surface.

Quickly sensing very rapid rates of temperature change (Tc <0.5 sec) they can offer engineers the very best chance of sensing, controlling and protecting their application.

The FT is widely used in personal care, glucose monitoring patches, security devices, in-cell battery applications.
