Proludic Unveils Newly Refurbished “Play Hub” Headquarters in Nottinghamshire
Proludic Limited, has officially unveiled its newly refurbished headquarters in the village of Bunny, near Nottingham- the “Play Hub”.
The significant investment marks an exciting new chapter for the leading designer and provider of outdoor play and sports areas. The change creates a modern, flexible and inspiring workplace designed to support creativity, collaboration and long-term growth.
Creating the “Play Hub”
Proludic has been based in Bunny since relocating from West Bridgford in 2016. The site has now been transformed into the company’s “Play Hub”! It now serves as the central office for teams delivering projects across the UK for local authorities, housing developers, leisure providers, charitable trusts and many other organisations.
As part of a global group responsible for the design and installation of more than 120,000 play and sports areas worldwide, Proludic has continued to grow locally and nationally. The refurbishment reflects the company’s commitment to reinvesting in its people. All while ensuring its working environment supports the same creativity and innovation that goes into its outdoor spaces.
Rob Baker, Managing Director of Proludic Limited, said:
“This investment reflects our commitment to creating a modern environment where our team can thrive, collaborate, and continue delivering exceptional spaces for communities across the UK.”
The renovated office introduces a contemporary open-plan layout, supported by dedicated co-working areas, upgraded meeting rooms and enhanced communal spaces. Designed in response to employee feedback, the new environment promotes wellbeing, teamwork and flexibility, while supporting a range of working styles.
Key features include state-of-the-art meeting and collaboration spaces, ergonomic workstations, improved natural lighting and breakout areas that encourage informal conversation and idea sharing. In keeping with Proludic’s playful identity, the office also features distinctive elements, including a shuffleboard table and a swing in the reception area.
A Sustainable Redesign
Sustainability has also played a central role in the redesign. The refurbishment includes energy-efficient lighting, recycled materials and tables made from repurposed CDs forming part of the finished scheme.
East Midlands-based commercial interior specialists We Are Spaces delivered the project. They worked with Proludic to combine functionality, creativity and sustainable design principles in a dynamic, future-focused workplace.
The Play Hub was officially opened by Philippe Le Poupon, Vice Chairman of Proludic. During a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by employees, he said:
“This Play Hub captures the global spirit of Proludic, encouraging our teams to be happy, innovative and creative, to shape the future of play.”
The updated headquarters is now fully operational and has already received overwhelmingly positive feedback from staff.
More than an office refurbishment, the Play Hub represents Proludic’s ongoing commitment to supporting its team, encouraging innovation and continuing to deliver high-quality play and sports environments for communities across the UK.
Proludic now looks forward to welcoming clients and partners into a space that reflects its values, its playful identity and its ambitions for the future.
