Solar Gates strengthens Irish operations with new Naas depot opening

Site and traffic safety specialists SG have officially opened a new depot in Naas, marking a significant milestone in the company's continued expansion across Ireland.

Site and traffic safety specialists SG have officially opened a new depot in Naas, marking a significant milestone in the company's continued expansion across Ireland.

Located at Monread Industrial Park, the new facility will serve as a central hub for operations, supporting customers with access to the company's growing range of traffic management and solar-powered safety solutions.

The opening event welcomed a wide range of guests including local businesses, customers and community representatives, highlighting SG's commitment to building strong relationships in the region. Councillor Ger Dunne, Deputy Mayor of Naas, formally opened the Naas hub at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

SG's Country Manager Niall O'Byrne said the launch represents a major step forward for the company's presence in the Irish market.

He said: "It was a fantastic event and a proper opportunity to show people that we mean business in Ireland.

"Whether that's with the INSTABOOM Go units which are already being used across the country, or with cycle lane delineators that local councils have deployed, SG Traffic Safety has already made a strong impression here and that reputation continues to grow.

"The opening of our Naas depot gives us a solid base to serve customers nationwide, providing quicker access to equipment, expertise and support."

The location will enable SG to further strengthen its service offering, providing localised support, technical expertise and improved responsiveness for customers operating across Ireland.

O'Byrne added that the company's recent partnership with Berlex is also set to enhance its Irish offering.

He said: "Our partnership with Berlex means we will soon be introducing their innovative portable traffic light system to the Irish market. It's an exciting development that underlines our commitment to delivering smarter, safer solutions for traffic management."

SG welcomes customers and partners to visit the Naas facility and explore its full range of solutions, as the business continues to invest and customer support across the region.
