Elmdale Maintenance Limited Awarded Reprographics Contract at The Sixth Form College, Farnborough
The Sixth Form College, Farnborough has recently awarded its new reprographics and managed print services contract to Elmdale Maintenance Limited, following a competitive tender process.
The contract covers the full refresh and ongoing management of the College’s print estate, including multifunction devices (MFDs), print‑room equipment, and a large number of desktop printers. Elmdale emerged as the highest‑scoring bidder among 13 competing suppliers, demonstrating the strongest alignment with the College’s technical, operational, and value‑for‑money requirements.
A key factor in Elmdale’s selection was its proven expertise in delivering modern, secure, and efficient managed print environments for the education sector. The College required a supplier capable of supporting its existing PaperCut Hive infrastructure, improving device reliability, and reducing the operational burden on internal staff. Elmdale’s proposal offered a clear pathway to rationalising ageing devices, enhancing print governance, and improving sustainability through reduced waste and energy‑efficient hardware. Their reputation for rapid response times, transparent servicing, and their expertise with the PaperCut Print Management portfolio, further reinforced confidence in their ability to support a high‑demand academic environment.
The contract also provides strategic benefits for The Prospect Trust, which already partners Elmdale’s group subsidiary, Elmdale IT Services Limited, who provide high-level IT Support Services into the Education sector across the South of England. Elmdale’s local presence, SME agility, and scalable service model positioned them as the supplier best equipped to support a multi‑site educational organisation over the full contract term. By combining competitive pricing with strong technical capability and a commitment to long‑term partnership, Elmdale Maintenance Limited delivered the most economically advantageous tender and will now lead the College’s transition to a more reliable, secure, and cost‑effective reprographics infrastructure.
