“As part of our ongoing facility upgrade programme, we identified that our existing fire door sets needed full replacement to meet current fire safety regulations,” explains Kevin Humphrys, CEO of Oakland Care. “In a care home environment, this isn't something you can defer – and we needed a solution that would bring us into compliance without disrupting the day-to-day life of the home.”
