T&R Test Equipment Ltd. Launches Free High Voltage Testing Workshops Across the UK for 2026
T&R Test Equipment Ltd. is pleased to announce a new series of free High Voltage Testing Workshops taking place across the UK throughout 2026, delivered in partnership with PASS Ltd.
Designed specifically for engineers working within the high voltage sector, the workshops will provide practical technical insight, live equipment demonstrations, and hands-on experience with modern testing and safety equipment used in commissioning, maintenance, relay testing, and HV system verification.
As electrical infrastructure continues to evolve, engineers face increasing demands surrounding safety, testing accuracy, and compliance. The workshops aim to support industry professionals by delivering practical knowledge focused on real-world applications rather than purely theoretical discussion.
The first event will take place on Tuesday 26th May 2026 in Leeds, with additional workshops planned for Hamilton (Glasgow) and Stevenage later in the year.

For more than four decades, T&R Test Equipment Ltd. has supplied high current and high voltage testing equipment to engineers and organisations operating across the global power sector.

Attendees will gain insight into:

Unlike conventional seminar-style events, the workshops will place strong emphasis on practical demonstration and direct interaction with test equipment.
Hands-On Demonstrations with Industry-Proven Equipment
Participants will have the opportunity to see and use a range of T&R and Metrohm equipment during live demonstrations, including:
- 50ADM-P
- 200ADM-P Mk2
- 750ADM Mk4
- CU-P Primary Injection Systems
- Metrohm High Voltage Instruments range
The morning session will focus on relay testing and protection systems, covering relay operation, circuit breaker interaction, testing best practices, and common troubleshooting scenarios.
A dedicated session on primary injection testing will explore why primary injection remains essential during commissioning and maintenance activities, supported by live demonstrations using the 750ADM Mk4.
The afternoon session will concentrate on high voltage testing and safety, including tester selection, accurate measurement techniques, and avoiding common sources of error during HV testing procedures.
