Making the switch to sustainable transport

We believe in sustainability and strive to be industry leaders in shaping a sustainable future, which is why we’re proud we’ve fully switched to hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) in all our HGVs.

The trial started on two of our HGVs at our Joseph Ash Telford division in July 2025, and by the end of 2025, we successfully made the switch on all ~50 of our HGVs across our sites.

One year since the initial trial, our carbon emissions are now significantly lower thanks to the switch, as HVO produces up to 90% lower CO² than diesel.

We’re committed to sustainability and this change is just one of the many ways we are making our sites greener and more sustainable.
