The 1st of 11 Brand New Bespoke Vacuum Lifters Shipped Off To A Very Happy Customer!

We recently finished testing the 1st of 11 totally self contained, special purpose, mobile vacuum lifters designed to lift bus/coach windscreens.

The lifter has a maximum safe working load of 150 kgs & comprises a battery powered vacuum lifting frame mounted on a mobile extendable boom. The telescopic boom is mounted on a vertical telescopic post incorporated into a mobile base. An electrical enclosure and removable 24v battery pack is fitted to the base of the unit.

The base has four swivel castors for maneuvering, the two rear castors (250mm) are manually lockable to enable the lifter to move in a straight line when required. Two manually movable outrigger legs with fixed wheels (200mm) are included to provide a stable rolling base for the lifter.

Two handles are provided, mounted on the vertical member.

To enable storage/transportation the lifter is designed to fold down to a compact size.

The vacuum lifter is fitted with four KV type M86 250mm vacuum pad assemblies, the pads are mounted so as to provide limited angular movement to accommodate a curved screen. The vacuum pads are mounted on a sliding frame which allows the pads to be spaced between 900mm and 1200mm overall. The vertical vacuum pad dimension is fixed at 750mm overall.
