1-Fix opens new East of England branch
Bringing more than 20 years of IT and Technology support to Norfolk
Bracknell, 1 September 2026. 1-Fix, the IT and Technology partner that has supported UK businesses from the Thames Valley since 2002, has opened a new branch serving Norfolk and the wider East of England.
1-Fix East is live from today, covering Norwich, King's Lynn, Great Yarmouth, Thetford, Dereham, Wymondham, Attleborough and Fakenham, along with the surrounding counties.
The full service range is available immediately: helpdesk, Microsoft 365, devices, networks, servers, backup and recovery, and cybersecurity with 24x7x365 monitoring.
All of it is managed as one service by one accountable team, so clients have a single number to ring.
The branch is led by Managing Director Craig Atkins alongside James Fowler, who is based in the region and is the first point of contact for businesses getting in touch.
It runs remote-first with planned onsite visits, while local engineering presence is built out.
Importantly, 1-Fix East is not a franchise, a reseller or a partner arrangement. It is the same company, with the same engineers, the same processes and the same standards that support 1-Fix clients in the Thames Valley.
"We want to bring what we do to more businesses around the country, not just the Thames Valley. Meeting James is what made it possible. He understands how we operate and he has spent enough time with businesses in the East to know where the frustrations sit. Nobody in Norfolk is taking a chance on something new here. Behind the branch is a business that has been doing this since 2002."
Craig Atkins, Managing Director, 1-Fix
"The pattern I keep hearing is the same. Slow responses, poor communication, and nobody joining the technology up to what the business is actually trying to do.
Support that works reliably is the foundation, not the point. The questions worth answering are what your security exposure really looks like, what a compliance clause in a new contract means in practice, and where AI and automation would genuinely earn their place."
James Fowler, 1-Fix East
1-Fix works best with established businesses of roughly 30 to 250 users where technology matters to the operation, particularly transport and logistics, professional services, manufacturing and technology-dependent firms. Where there is someone internal who owns IT, the company works alongside them rather than around them, absorbing out-of-hours cover and specialist work that is hard to justify hiring for.
The company is Cyber Essentials Plus certified, holds Microsoft Partner status, has been named in the UK Top 50 MSPs for seven consecutive years, was MSP of the Year in 2024, and is scored 98.9% for satisfaction by its own clients.
