Leeds software firm Computime launches the Connect family: attendance, leave, HR, fire safety and visitors on one system

Computime, the family-run Leeds workforce software company trading since 1989, has brought its products together under a new name, the Connect family, so that businesses can start with time and attendance and add what they need as they grow.

At the centre of the family is Syncro Connect, Computime's cloud time and attendance system. Staff clock in on a terminal, the Syncro Connect app or a web browser, timesheets build themselves, and approved hours export ready for Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, BrightPay, IRIS, ADP and Pegasus. It costs £2 per employee per month, or £3 with the Syncro Connect app, excluding VAT, with no setup fees and a free 14 day trial.

Around it sit modules that run on the same system:

• Leave Connect for holiday and sickness, with return to work forms, Bradford Factor scoring and different bank holiday rules for sites in England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
• HR Connect for staff records, documents and appraisals.
• Fire Connect, a roll call app that gives fire marshals a live list of who is on site, at £395 a year.
• Visitor Connect for reception sign-in, with visitors appearing on the same roll call, at £495 a year.
• Access Connect for door entry, so a door swipe and a clocking can be one event.
• Syncro Flexi for flexitime and Syncro Kiosk, a shared tablet where staff without a work phone can book holiday and check their hours.

The family also includes Edu Connect, launched this month for schools and multi-academy trusts, which keeps one live list of everyone on site across every school in a trust.
